The Company
SomoLabs is an educational startup company registered and based in Kigali, Rwanda. We create and sell curriculum-aligned academic courses taught by subject-matter experts and delivered in an engaging, multimedia format. The idea of SomoLabs was born out of a desire to make online education more accessible, structured and affordable for students of all ages. We believe that study sessions shouldn’t feel draining, nor should exams induce anxiety. There are so many students out there who are struggling to keep up with their studies, and could really use some help but don't know where to find it: the internet is full of junk, tutors are very expensive and unreliable, and exams are too hard. We are on a quest to change that. SomoLabs combines the best of both worlds: the flexibility and convenience of online learning, with the structure and support of a traditional school. We are building a platform that allows students to learn exact same things they would learn in a normal class but at their own pace, on their own schedule, and in their own way with set of tools that will help them prepare for exams, so they can feel confident and ready when the time comes.
